David turned 5 this month. We celebrated his birthday today.
He had plenty of help opening his presents.
As you can see, Linsey and Dawson are very excited about David's presents.
I was able to get him to pose with a present.
Thank you Aunt Crystal, Uncle Paul, Erika, Paul David, and Alana!
Blowing out the candles.
Bob and Dave were working, Mark was in a meeting, Dad was bored. (He doesn't even like to put puzzles together.)

Our homeschool group took a field trip to Stearns Violin Shop. Mr. Stearns makes violins and has studied under masters. He has some beautiful instruments in his shop. You can check out his website at stearnsviolins.com
A few of the violins hanging in his shop.
Check out these unusual finishes.

The kids have found scraps of wood laying around and have decided that they need a clubhouse. They have been working quite a while on this, but they have two walls standing. Not sure if they have a blueprint or know quite where they are going with it, but it keeps them busy on nice days.
An updated pictures of the puppies. 7 months old.

Kaylee received this doll for Christmas in a cousin gift exchange. She plays with it quite a bit. When you push on the tummy, it plays the song "B-I-N-G-O". It will play a phrase and then stop. Then you have to push on the tummy again. I'm not sure if you can hear her well enough or not, but she sings "B-'By'-N-G-O". (Please excuse the scattered toys. They always think the living room is the best room for playing.)

Grandpa passing out the presents.
Opening the presents.
Kendrick is very excited about his new skateboard.
Krista received a knitting machine...
and a collection of craft projects.
Grandpa helping Kaylee open her "My Little Pony Balloon House".
(He wasn't impressed with all the wires, rubber bands, etc. holding it in the package.)
Grandma helping Kara remove all of the pieces to her "Strawberry Shortcake Beauty to Berry Blossom" playset.
This is a scarf that Krista made with her new machine.
Kendrick trying out his skateboard.
Kara and Kaylee combined their things and added some old favorites for this party.
THANK YOU, UNCLE RICHARD AND AUNT MARCIA!!!
